(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – Around 4:30 a.m. on Monday July 25, 2016, a rural property owner heard his pickup truck start and observed it exiting his laneway. The theft of this vehicle was immediately reported to the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Investigation revealed that the black 2016 GMC Sierra pickup truck with a crew cab had been left parked in the farm laneway near the house. The farm is located along Line 71 south/west of Atwood. Licence plates bearing 8835FN were attached to the vehicle. The keys to the vehicle had been left in the ignition.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who has information about these two truck thefts to contact them immediately at 1-888-310-112. If you wish to remain anonymous you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) where you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
