Bernadette Hill – Drunk Driving

On July 24, 2009 shortly after 1:00 am Huron OPP officers stopped a vehicle on Bayfield Road. Upon speaking to the female driver, the officer detected the odour of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath. The driver was read a demand to provide a roadside sample of her breath and she complied but then failed the test. The driver was arrested for Driving with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol and was transported to the Huron Detachment where she provided two more samples of her breath. Both readings confirmed that the female was well over the legal limit of 80 milligrams.

As a result of the investigation, Bernadette Hill (46) of Central Huron was charged with one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol. She was given a 90 day licence suspension and she will answer to her charge in Goderich Court on September 21, 2009.
