(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON)-On September 24, 2016 the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a stabbing incident on Taylor Avenue in Kirkland Lake. A 21year year old male received multiple stab wounds on the lower part of his body. The male suffered non- life threatening injuries. The incident occurred between 3:40 a.m. and 4:20 a.m.
As result of the investigation, Ben BEAUCHAMP age 38 of Kirkland Lake was charged with aggravated assault.
The accused was arrested and held pending a bail hearing
