On the afternoon of the 31st of October 2015, Barrie Police responded to a disturbance call at a downtown church. Trinity Anglican church was holding a bazaar when a 49 year old female attended the event and began to cause a scene. Volunteers at the bazaar requested that the female party leave the bazaar, but the female refused and began to act out. In doing so, the female accused pushed an elderly women to the ground causing the victim to sustain minor injuries to her leg, wrist, and a bump to her head. Ambulance attended the scene and treated the victim at the scene determining that she did not require any further medical treatment. The accused was subsequently arrested and charged with assault, as well as breach of probation.

Date: Sunday, November 1, 2015 – 1:30am
On the 1st of November 2015 at approximately 1:35am, Barrie Police responded to a south end residence in regards to the report of a domestic incident in progress. Upon arrival officers determined that a 29 year male and his girlfriend had a heated argument, resulting in the male being locked out of the house. The male party became enraged and kicked in the door to the residence and once inside assaulted his girlfriend. This was witnessed by a third party who removed a young child from the home during the incident to keep the child safe. The 29 year old male was arrested for mischief under $5000, and assault. The accused was held pending a bail hearing.

On the 1st of November 2015 at 2:05am, Barrie Police responded to a north end apartment complex in regards to a domestic incident. Upon arrival Police learned that a 23 year old male and his girlfriend had attended a local strip club for the evening and consumed a quantity of alcohol before returning home. Once at home where they live with their young child, the two became engaged in a heated verbal dispute. During the dispute the intoxicated 23 year old male broke down a bedroom door causing damage. The accused was subsequently arrested for domestic mischief and held pending a bail hearing.
