(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at approximately 1:45 p.m., a member of Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) being driven on Concession 14 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. The operator was not wearing a helmet. Further investigation revealed that the operator was a suspended driver.
Hayden FROTTEN, 20, of the Municipality of Meaford, was issued Part III Offence Notices for operating an ATV without insurance, no plates and no helmet under the Off-Road Vehicles Act, as well as driving under suspension under the Highway Traffic Act.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, August 18, 2014.
