(Madoc, ON) – On April 24, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P conducted a R.I.D.E Program on Quin-mo-lac Road in the Municipality of Centre Hastings where forty vehicles were checked. An all-terrain vehicle (ATV) was observed approaching the R.I.D.E Program, and then it turned around and left the area. It was located by an officer, a short time later on Watson Lane near Highway # 62.
The driver, 56 year old Deborah GOVIER of Madoc, ON was charged with Drive Off Road Vehicle – No Drivers Licence, Drive Off Road Vehicle – No Insurance and Drive All-Terrain Vehicle with a Passenger. The ATV was towed from the scene.
