(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Saturday the 27th of July 2013, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to the report of a collision on a trail off Weslemkoon Lake Road in Tudor and Cashel Township. Officers attended the location and investigation revealed that a male had been operating a Polaris ATV that struck a tree on private property.
The driver of the ATV, 28 year old Rob HANNAH of Stirling, Ontario was transported by ambulance to Quinte Healthcare North Hastings with major injuries. He was later transported by air ambulance to Kingston General Hospital.
Investigation into the collision is ongoing.
