Attempted Stabbing At Bus Stop

(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 21, 2014 at approximately 9:25 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding two males fighting at the Aberfoyle Bus Terminal located on McLean Road in Puslinch Township.

Investigation revealed that two males, who were known to each other, were in a physical confrontation when one of the males attempted to stab the other with a knife.

The knife was turned over to police and the male suspect was taken into custody. No injuries were sustained by the victim.

Joseph DOZOIS age 22 of Puslinch Township has been charged with:

Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm

Assault With a Weapon

Assault Level One

Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon

Fail to Comply With Recognizance

Fail to Comply With Probation Order X2

Possession of a Weapon For a Dangerous Purpose

All contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He was also charged with Being Intoxicated in a Public Place contrary to the Liquor Licence Act.

He held for a Bail Hearing to speak to his charges.
