On Friday October 10, 2014 at approximately 10:50 am a male party entered a variety store on Park Avenue East in the City of Chatham. He allegedly demanded money from the clerk and when the clerk refused the suspect threw a product display. When police arrived they arrested the suspect who was still on scene. As a result of the investigation a 30 year old Chatham man stands charged with robbery and will appear in court at a later date.
