(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On April 30th, 2015, members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and driver who attempted to get a student into a their vehicle. This incident happened at Byng Elementary School in Stayner as students were arriving at approx. 9 a.m.
The student was approached in the school parking lot by an unknown female who motioned at the student to get into her vehicle. Instead, the student exercised caution and ran inside the school reporting the incident to school staff, who immediately called Police.
Police are asking for the assistance of the public in identifying the vehicle and the driver.
Driver and Vehicle are described as:
• Driver – Female, white with short blonde hair, a large frame and dark clothes
• Vehicle – Ford F150 pickup truck, white with four doors, dark tinted windows, chrome rims and black tonneau cover
