(ATIKOKAN, ON) – Shortly before 9:00 am on December 31, 2013, members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to reports of a deceased male located at the 100 block of River Road in Atikokan.
Members of the Rainy River District Crime unit as well as a Scenes of Crime Officer from Atikokan and the Thunder Bay Forensic Identification Unit were called to assist with the investigation.
The OPP is working in consultation with the Chief Coroner’s office to confirm the date of the post mortem examination.
