(ATIKOKAN, ON) On January 11, 2014 at 1:20 am members of the Rainy River District Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E.) check in the area of the Atikokan High School. As a result of an investigation a male driver was charged criminally with driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. Marcus COULSON (19) of Atikokan is scheduled to appear in Atikokan Provincial Court on Thursday February 27, 2014 at 10:30 am to answer to this charge.
On January 18, 2014 at 10:00 pm members of the Rainy River District OPP conducted a R.I.D.E. check in the area of the Atikokan High School. As a result of an investigation a male driver was charged criminally with driving with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood. Michael MCEVOY (31) of Atikokan is scheduled to appear in Atikokan Provincial Court on Thursday February 27, 2014 at 10:30 am to answer to this charge.
On January 22, 2014 at 1:50 am, members of the Rainy River District OPP conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle in the Front Street area of Atikokan. As a result of an investigation at the scene, Johnathan Tyler WILLIAMS (25) of Atikokan has been charged criminally with refusing to comply with a breath demand. WILLIAMS is scheduled to appear in Atikokan Provincial Court on Thursday March 27, 2014 at 10:30 am to answer to this charge
