Date: Tuesday, March 18, 2014 – 9:00am
Monday March 17th 2014 at approximately 2:00 pm the victim a 20 year old male with associations to the Barrie area was at 24 Ross St in the City of Barrie. The victim exited the residence at the rear of the address to walk his dog. As the victim exited the unit the accused a 21 year old male approached him and a physical altercation ensued.
The victim was then stabbed by the accused on the left side of his abdomen the accused then fled the scene on foot.
Police were contacted.
The victim was transported to Royal Victoria Hospital with non life threatening injuries.The victim is currently in the intensive care unit at Royal Victoria Hospital.
Police are seeking a warrant for the accused.
