(GRAND BEND, ON) –On July 21, 2015 at about 9:45 p.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended an entertainment establishment on Main Street in the Town of Grand Bend, Ontario to investigate an assault. The involved males had become involved in a verbal argument with regard to property. As a result of the argument, it was alleged that the victim had been struck with a blunt object.
As a result of this investigation, Mickey RAPAPORT, 65 years-of-age of the City of London, Ontario was charged with Assault with a Weapon. In addition, and as a result of the original assault complaint, Justin RAPAPORT, 28 years-of-age, also of the City of London, Ontario, was charged with Obstruct a Peace Officer.
The victim had received medical attention at the scene and later transported to Hospital as he had suffered significant injury. Both of these charged persons are required to attend the Sarnia Court House on August 31, 2015, in order to answer to the allegations.
The OPP will not be revealing the victim’s name at this time.
