(UNDERWOOD, ON) – The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of the South Bruce OPP Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit, continue to investigate an assault that occurred in Underwood on August 18, 2016.
At approximately 4:08 a.m. on August 18th, police received a call from Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) requesting their assistance at a residence on Highway 21 in the hamlet of Underwood.
Police arrived at the scene and learned that an altercation between several parties had occurred resulting in injuries. A 45-year old female was transported to hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Saugeen Shores Police Service assisted at the scene.
Police continue to investigate the incident and ask anyone with information which may assist to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
