Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a 21 year old Kitchener man for randomly assaulting unsuspecting individuals. During the early morning hours of Friday the 10th of January 2014, Police received multiple complaints of a man on King Street West, near Victoria Street North, in the City of Kitchener randomly assaulting people. The man pretended to be injured, luring people to approach. He then physically assaulted the random victims. The man was located by Police in the area, arrested and charged with assault. One victim was transported via ambulance to Grand River Hospital with facial injuries.
