Ashley LORANGER – Trafficking Cocaine, Impaired Care And Control

(KENORA, ON) On Saturday March 18, 2017 at approximately 9:00 p.m, members of the Kenora Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint of a possible impaired driver on Ninth St North in the City of Kenora.

Police patrolled the area and located the suspect vehicle and driver. It was determined the driver was impaired and was arrested at the scene. She was transported to the detachment for further tests.

As a result of the investigation, Ashley LORANGER, age 23 from Kenora has been charged with:

Care or Control While Impaired by Drug, Contrary to the Criminal Code

Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking-Cocaine, Contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)

Possession of a Schedule II Substance- Cannabis Marihuana, over 30 grams (CDSA)

She is to appear in Kenora court on May 11, 2017 to answer to the charges.
