(City of Kawartha Lakes, ON)- On December 29, 2015 just after 2:30pm the City of Kawartha Lakes Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended an attempt Robbery at a Pharmacy in Eldon Township. Shortly after at 3:00pm the City of Kawartha Lakes OPP responded to another report of a Robbery at a Pharmacy in Woodville.
The City of Kawartha Lakes Crime unit along with the Central Region Forensics Unit attended to assist in the investigation. As a result of the detailed investigation two males have since been arrested and charged.
Kenneth STRONGITHARM (32yrs) of Schomberg, ON faces charges of Robbery with Violence under the Criminal Code of Canada. He will return to the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on January 21, 2016 to answer to his charges.
Roger STRONGITHARM (40yrs) of Woodville, ON faces charges of Robbery with Violence, Disguise with Intent under the Criminal Code of Canada and a Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Marihuana under the Controlled Drug Substances Act. The accused was held for a bail hearing and will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on January 8, 2016 to answer to his charges.
