(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment and the Niagara Regional Police Service have charged three males with multiple criminal offences after a lengthy investigation.
Since April of 2015 there have been multiple thefts of off road vehicles, trailers, tools, construction equipment and heavy motorized construction equipment from various locations throughout the Niagara West Lincoln area. These crimes presented themselves in the Haldimand County area in April of 2016.
As a result of a five month joint investigation between the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS), 8 District Criminal Investigations Branch and the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) – Haldimand County Property Crime Unit, three males have been arrested.
Tyler HAINING (21-year-old) of West Lincoln, Ontario is charged with:
Two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
One count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
Possession of break in instruments
Theft Over $5,000
Three counts of Mischief Under $5,000
Break, Enter Commit Indictable Offence
Possess of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
Patrick SHAVER (22-year-old) of Lincoln, Ontario is charged with:
Two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
Theft Over $5,000
Two counts of theft of a motor vehicle
Theft under $5,000
Three counts of Mischief Under $5,000
Break, Enter Commit Indictable Offence
Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over
Arson
Samuel LOBELIO (22-year-old) of Hagersville, Ontario is charged with:
Two counts of theft of a motor vehicle over $5,000
Theft Over $5,000
Break, Enter Commit Indictable Offence
Two counts of Mischief Over $5,000
Three counts of Mischief Under $5,000
Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
They are all to appear in their respective jurisdictions at a later date to answer to the charges.
