(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – Members of the County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Criminal Investigations Unit have charged 2 adults and 1 young offender in relation to 17 vehicle entries in Paris in late August.
In late August County of Brant OPP received several complaints regarding vehicles being entered and contents being stolen. Police attended the affected area of Paris and located 3 persons who were responsible for the vehicle entries.
County of Brant OPP have charged 19-year old Alexandra HUTCHINSON and 19-year old Jason BUTLER both of the County of Brant with 17 counts each of theft under $5000 from a motor vehicle.
The OPP also arrested and charged a 16-year-old youth with 17 counts of theft under $5000 from a motor vehicle. The name of the youth cannot be released under the youth criminal justice act.
All 3 parties will appear in The Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
