(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On February 18, 2016, the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began investigating several incidents of counterfeit money being used for purchases at commercial retail businesses in the 22600 block of Komoka Road, 9800 block of Glendon Drive, and 9900 block of Glendon Drive.
As a result of the police investigations, three males from London, Ontario, have been arrested and charged.
18-year-old Abraham MACUEI was arrested on April 6, 2016, and subsequently released on a recognizance. He is scheduled to answer to the charges on May 9, 2016.
25-year-old Joseph DUBINSKY was arrested on April 10, 2016, and subsequently released on a recognizance. He is scheduled to answer to the charges on May 2, 2016.
19-year-old Jamal YOUSUF was arrested on April 11, 2016, and has been held in custody.
The accuseds have each been charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with:
possessing counterfeit money – have in custody
utter counterfeit money X4
They will be appearing in the London, Ontario, courts.
