(MOOSONEE, ON) – At approximately 4:45 am on October 8, 2015 the Moosonee Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an intrusion alarm at The Brick located on Revillon Road in Moosonee.
Officers attended the business and located the rear door to be ajar. The business was cleared with no signs of the intruder. An extensive search of the surrounding area was completed however police were unable to locate any suspects.
On October 21, 2015 at approximately 1:30 am the Moosonee OPP responded to a report of a burglary alarm at the Moosonee Airport. Officers arrived on scene to find the exterior door was insecure. After a search of the area there were no suspects located on the scene.
The Moosonee OPP conducted an investigation into both break and enters and arrested and charged two males.
Joseph STEED (34), of Moosonee Ontario, has been charged in relation to both The Brick and the Moosonee Airport.

Disguise with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence contrary to Section 351(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada (Moosonee Airport)
Fail to Comply with Probation contrary to Section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada (Moosonee Airport)
Dylan MCWATCH (23), of Moosonee Ontario, has been charged in relation to the Moosonee Airport.
Break and Enter a Place contrary to Section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Disguise with Intent to Commit an Indictable Offence contrary to Section 351(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Possession of Break in Instruments contrary to Section 351(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Mischief Under $5,000 contrary to Section 430(4) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Both males have been released on a promise to appear and an undertaking before an officer in charge. They are set to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Moosonee on December 1, 2015 to answer to these charges.
