(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – On April 26, 2016 at 4:50pm officers from the City of Kawartha Lakes (CKL) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a daytime break, enter and theft at a residence south of Bobcaygeon.
Nobody was home at the time of the crime – jewellery was stolen.
A suspicious vehicle was observed in the area and the police are looking for the assistance of the public in identifying this vehicle. It is described as dark metallic grey in colour, four doors, with a rusted fender on the back driver’s side wheel well. The vehicle also had very dark tint on the windows. It is similar to a Mazda 5.

As a result of an investigation Ginalisa FUSCO, 23 years old, of Bobcaygeon is charged with the following offences:
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 contrary to section 354(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) (two counts)
Break, Enter a Dwelling House and Commit a Theft contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the CCC
Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to section 733.1(1) CCC
Permit Use of Plate Not Authorized for Vehicle contrary to section 12(1)(d) of the Highway Traffic Act
The accused was arrested on May 5, 2016 and appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay yesterday for a bail hearing.
