On December 10, 2013 members of the Criminal Investigation Division, working on the PAVIS initiative (Provincial Anti Violence Intervention Strategy) conducted compliance checks on known criminal offenders.
The officers attended a south end residence and located a 37 year old Barrie female in violation of her conditional sentence order. She was arrested on that violation and as a result of a search the officers located controlled drugs on her person.
The female was held in custody for a bail hearing on new charges.
