On the 15th of October, in the afternoon hours a 20 year old male was exiting a bus in the Leacock Dr and Lampman Ln area. At that time he was confronted by a group of males previously known to him. A verbal dispute escalated and one of the males began to punch the victim in the head causing minor injuries. During the incident the male stole the victim’s phone and fled the area.. The incident was reported to the Barrie Police and through investigation was properly identified. On the 13th of February 2014, the 16 year old accused was arrested and charged with robbery and fail to comply with a condition of a recognizance. The accused was held for bail.
