Armed Robbery – Suspect Description Released

The Essex County OPP and the Essex County Crime Unit are investigating a robbery that occurred on July 23rd 2015 just before 11 p.m. at the Stop and Go Convenience located at 80 King Street East in Harrow.

The lone male clerk was taking the garbage out the back door when he was met by a male who ordered him back into the store. Once inside, the male lead the employee to the front of store where he produced a knife and demanded the money from the cash register. The male then left with the cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40-50 years old, 6’ to 6’ 2” tall, 200-220 pounds, with a heavy build, glasses and white scruff on his face. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with a white shirt underneath, a white baseball cap, dark colored track pants and dark shoes.
