(PERTH EAST, ON) – On Tuesday July 25, 2017, shortly after 1:30 p.m. the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a robbery at the CIBC bank located on Main Street North in the Township of Perth East.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that an unknown male entered the bank and confronted employees with a weapon. A quantity of money was taken at which time the suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
Members of the OPP Emergency Response Team, OPP Canine unit and Perth County OPP crime unit were deployed to the area and are assisting in this investigation.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’0 tall
