Armed Robbery Fail – Matthew Jolicoeur Charged

On June 29th, 2015 at approximately 7:00pm, a male entered the Eastside Discount Market in the Village of Havelock brandishing a knife, and demanding money from the cashier. When unsuccessful in obtaining money, the male fled out of the store on foot.

Peterborough County OPP Officers were dispatched to the scene and successfully located the male in Havelock a short time later. Subsequently the male was arrested and held for a bail hearing at the Peterborough Provincial Courthouse on June 30th, 2015.

Charged is: Matthew Jolicoeur, 21 years of age of Havelock, Ontario.
