Armed Robbery At Subway

(Pembroke, Ontario) – The Pembroke Detachment of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating an armed robbery that was reported on Friday the 28th of February at Subway Sandwiches on Pembroke St. West in the City of Pembroke.

Investigated revealed that at approximately 10:10 pm, a lone male entered the business wearing a disguise. The male was described as being approximately 6’4” and heavy set and was wearing dark clothing. After threatening the store employee and demanding money, the male made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured. Detective Tina Davenport is the investigating officer. The investigation is continuing.
