(BRANT COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), County of Brant detachment is investigating an armed robbery at a Colborne Street East, Cainsville, County of Brant, Ontario address.
On Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at approximately 12:38 a.m., a lone male entered the Pioneer gas station and displayed a weapon. He then demanded money from the cash register from the lone male employee. A quantity of Canadian currency was turned over to the suspect who then exited the store and fled eastbound on Colborne Street East.
The employee was not physically injured during this incident.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’0, 220 lbs, wearing a black ski mask covering his face, camouflage jacket and dark coloured gloves.
The County of Brant OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident they are being asked to contact the County of Brant OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
