Armed Robbery At Petro Canada

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County detachment is investigating an armed robbery at a Queensway West, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.

On Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at approximately 11:38 p.m., a lone male entered the Petro Canada gas station and displayed a weapon. He then demanded money from the cash register from the lone male employee. A quantity of Canadian currency was turned over to the suspect who then exited the store and fled westbound on Queensway West.

The employee was not physically injured during this incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’0 tall, wearing a black ski mask covering his face, camouflage jacket and dark coloured gloves.

The Norfolk County OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident or can identify the person, please contact the Norfolk County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
