Armed Robbery At IDA Pharmacy

(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Haldimand County detachment investigated a robbery at a Main Street North, Jarvis, Haldimand County, Ontario address.

On Thursday, November 19, 2015 at approximately 5:56 p.m., a lone male entered the IDA Pharmacy and approached an employee, displayed a weapon and demanded narcotics. The male was given a quantity of Canadian currency at which time he fled from the store in an unknown direction.

The employee was not physically injured during this incident.

The suspect is described as male, white, approximately 5’8 to 5’9, wearing thin, black knitted gloves and thick black coloured sunglasses. The suspect was also wearing a black coloured toque with a grey hooded sweat shirt with a green scarf covering his face.

The Haldimand County OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident or can identify the person, they are being asked to contact the Haldimand County OPP Detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
