On August 9th 2016 at approximately 4:20 a.m., two males armed with weapons entered a residence in the area of Wilson Avenue and Eighth Avenue in Kitchener through an unlocked rear door. The two demanded money from the homeowner. When confronted by the family dog, the two fled the home.
Police searched the area with negative results. No one was injured as a result of this incident. The first male is described as black, 61
