On October 19, 2015 at 7:06 p.m., the Guelph Police went to the Best Buy store on Stone Road for the report of two females in the store, one seen carrying a pellet gun under their jacket. Both were arrested by police. A search subsequent to their arrest discovered one carrying an airsoft pistol and a fillet style knife. She was also in possession of a small quantity of Crystal Meth, Oxycodone and Hydro Morphine. The other female had a BB gun as well as a small quantity of Marihuana, Oxycodone and Hydro Morphine.
Alyssa Tarnawski, 20 years of Guelph has been charged with two counts of carry a concealed weapon and three counts of possession of a controlled substance. She will appear in court on December 4, 2015.
A 23-year-old Guelph female has been charged with carry a concealed weapon, possession of a weapon contrary to a court order and three counts of possession of a controlled substance. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on October 20, 2015.
