(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a female with impaired driving.
On Saturday May 21, 2016 at approximately 11:30 p.m, police received a complaint of a possible impaired driver in the area of Round Lake.
A short time later, police located the vehicle on Highway 17 east and conducted a vehicle stop. Police determined the driver had been consuming alcohol and transported her to detachment for further tests.
As a result of this investigation, 40 year old Arlene WESLEY of Kenora has been charged with Driving while Ability Impaired and Driving a Motor Vehicle with more than .80 mg of Alcohol in 100 ml of Blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
She is to appear in Kenora Court on June 23, 2016 to answer to the charges.
