(ESSEX COUNTY, ON) -The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Essex County would like the public to be aware of a road closure.
Essex County Road 8 between Manning Road and Pinkerton Road in Essex is currently closed due to poor road conditions and several abandoned vehicles on the roadway.
Most Essex County roads are snow covered and blowing and drifting snow are causing difficult driving conditions.
Police are asking the public to stay off area roads if at all possible. If it is necessary to travel, use caution and drive according to road and weather conditions giving yourself extra time and space between the vehicle in front of you.
