(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On Friday May 22, 2015 at approximately 1:32 am, the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was advised of a fire located in a building containing three apartments on Parry Sound Road in Parry Sound. Parry Sound Fire Department attended scene and put out the fire. During scene investigation, a body was located in an apartment. At this time no name is being released pending identification of the deceased at the post mortem.
This investigation is being conducted by the West Parry Sound OPP and the Ontario Fire Marshalls (OFM) office.
