Antonio ARAYA PASTORA – Drunk Driving

(ESSA TOWNSHIP, ON)- On Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 9:56 pm, members of the Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver in Angus, Township of Essa.

Nottawasaga OPP Officers located and stopped the vehicle. The investigation quickly turned into an Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle investigation. The lone male driver was arrested and taken to the Nottawasaga Detachment where he provided a sample of his breath.

During a police search of the male, a prohibited knife was located to be in his possession at the time of the arrest. The knife was seized by officers.

Antonio ARAYA PASTORA, 36 years old, from Essa Township was charged with:

Driving while ability Impaired -Motor Vehicle

Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol

Unauthorized Possession of Weapon

The male was released on a Promise to Appear and will attend a future court date at the Bradford Court of Justice.
