Anthony JOHNS – Unmarked Cigarettes, Cocaine and Fentanyl

(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On November 28, 2014, just after 1:30 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Avalanche on Orford Road.

During subsequent OPP traffic investigation, the officer located a quantity of unmarked cigarettes and a small amount of cocaine and fentanyl.

As a result, the driver, 55 year old Anthony JOHNS, from Moravian First Nation, has been charged with the following:

Possession of Unmarked Cigarettes For The Purpose Of Sale, under the Tobacco Tax Act

Possession of Unmarked Cigarettes, under the Tobacco Tax Act

Possession of Cocaine, under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

Possession of Fentanyl, under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

The driver is scheduled to appear in a Chatham court on January 15, 2015, to answer to the charges.
