Anthony GOEPFRICH – Drunk Driving

(BANCROFT, ON) – On December 23, 2017, in the late evening, officers from the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while on patrol in the Township of Faraday received a traffic complaint on Highway 28 South of a possible impaired driver.

The vehicle in question was located and officers initiated a traffic stop to speak with the driver. Once the officers spoke to the driver they determined that the male had been consuming alcohol.

As a result of the investigation, Anthony GOEPFRICH, 65 years of the Municipality of Highlands East has been charged with:

Driving with over 80mgs Alcohol in 100mls of Blood

Driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle and

Driving while under suspension.

The accused was released on a promise to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on January 30, 2018.
