On December 20, 2013 at 4:00 p.m., a witness reported a collision on Wyndham Street South at the railway bridge. The witness advised police that a transport truck and trailer was travelling southbound when it struck the bridge crash beam. There were several pieces of the trailer located at the scene and it appears as though there was minor damage to the crash beam once again.
The transport truck and trailer did not stop and continued southbound towards Wellington Street. The trailer was described as gunmetal style” but no plate or company name was obtained by the witness.
