Another School Bus Driver Charged In A Collision – Brent McCULLOUGH

(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On June 14, 2016 at approximately 6:45 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a school bus at the intersection of Grey Rd. 40 and Grey Rd. 12 in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.

Investigation revealed that the First Canada School bus was travelling eastbound on Grey Rd. 40 and came to a stop at the intersection of Grey Rd. 12. The bus proceeded to enter the intersection where it collided with a 2015 Toyota RAV4 vehicle which was northbound on Grey Rd. 12.

The driver of the Toyota, a 54-year old female from the Township of Chatsworth, was taken to hospital via ambulance with minor injuries and released.

The driver of the school bus, Brent McCULLOUGH, 53, of Owen Sound, was charged with fail to yield to traffic on through highway under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA). He was not injured and there were no students on board the bus at the time of the collision.
