At 1:00 pm on May 23rd, police observed a grey Hyundai that had been reported stolen in Stratford on Carling Terrace in Wingham. Police attempted to stop the vehicle and it fled. Police pursued the vehicle to an area behind Valu Mart where the vehicle left the roadway and stopped. As the officer approached the vehicle, the driver sped off. Police did not continue the pursuit due to public safety. The vehicle was recovered on Minnie Street on May 24th but the driver is still at large.
