On January 23, 2015 at approximately 9:04 p.m. a pedestrian was struck on Kingsway Drive in Kitchener. The 19 year Kitchener female was walking eastbound through the pedestrian crossover toward the mall when she was struck by a Mazda car being driven by a 47 year Kitchener woman who was traveling southbound on Kingsway Drive. The pedestrian was taken to local hospital with what is believed to be minor injuries. The driver of the car was not injured. Police are continuing their investigation, no charges have been laid at this time.
