During the month of May, the Guelph Police Drug Unit entered into a drug trafficking investigation. On June 30th 2015, police arrested one Guelph male and executed a search warrant on a residence on Eramosa Road. As a result of this investigation police seized a quantity of marihuana, marihuana resin and a sum of cash.
Langis Lizzotte, 51 years of Guelph has been charged with trafficking by offer, possession of marihuana, and possession of marihuana resin, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He has also been charged with possession of proceeds of crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
He will appear in court on August 18th, 2015.
