(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment investigated a break and enter at an Ann Street, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at approximately 7:28 p.m., police received a report of a break and enter.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that an unknown male attended the address and gained entry. Once inside, he proceeded to gather some food items when he was confronted at the rear door of the residence by a family member.
The male immediately left the area on a neon lime green coloured mountain bike, riding away in an unknown direction.
The male was described as white, 6’2, 20 to 30 years of age, wearing a grey coloured hooded sweater pulled up over his head and blue jeans.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are being asked to contact police 1-888-310-1122.
Police are reminding all home owners to ensure that all doors and windows are secured in order to prevent anyone from gaining access to your residence.
