(LUCAN BIDDULPH, ON) – On July 12, 2016, at approximately 11:23 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a traffic complaint involving a motor vehicle travelling southbound on Main Street.
Officers located the grey Dodge pickup truck on Main Street, near Saintsbury Line, and conducted a traffic stop. It was determined that the male driver had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, 29-year-old Julian WUERCH, from London, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London court on August 25, 2016.
