Anish PATEL – Drunk Driving

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 27, 2016 at approximately 1:12 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) Officers were conducting a R.I.D.E. Program on Highway 6 and College Avenue, Guelph.

Police spoke a male driver of a 2003 Honda and believed that he had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening test was administered which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and transported to an OPP Operation Centre for further testing.

37-year-old Anish PATEL of Mississauga has been charged with Over 80 Mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on October 7, 2016. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.
