(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Thursday, November 12, 2015 at approximately 1:06 p.m., a Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a Ford vehicle being driven erratically northbound on Sydenham Street through the Village of Flesherton, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. The vehicle pulled into a local business north of the village and the lone driver ran inside the building. The officer entered the business and was confronted by the driver who then caused a disturbance by yelling and shouting profanities at the officer. She demanded the officer get out of her way and returned to her vehicle.
As a result of the investigation, 36-year old Andrea Lea EDWARDS of the Municipality of Grey Highlands was arrested and faces the following charges: Careless Driving, Causing a Disturbance, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Marihuana – Under 30 grams.
She is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on December 17, 2015.
