Ammo Stolen

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Tuesday July 27, 2010, Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a theft that had occurred at a construction company on Tremaine Ave. South in Listowel.

Two pickup trucks had been parked on the company lot between 6 p.m. Monday July 26 and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday July 27, 2010. During this time period the two trucks were broken into and two binoculars and a variety of miscellaneous ammunition was stolen from inside one of the trucks. The ammunition consists of 12 gauge 7.5 shot shells, 20 gauge 8 shot shells, .223 shells and a box of 300 Weatherby Magnum shells.

The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have seen suspicious activity around the businesses along Tremaine Ave. South during the time period in question to call them. They would also appreciate the public’s help in locating the ammunition because of the serious injury or death this could cause when it is found by children.
